I have a metafile (generated by exporting from Adobe Acrobat) that is incomplete when I read it into Metafile Companion. There are gradiants that are visible when I open it in Windows Paint, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, and Adobe Acrobat, but are not visible in Metafile Companion. There are other differences, too. Can I post the metafile and bitmap (to show what it's supposed to look like)?

Hi Phil,

Sorry for the delayed response. (Our new forum system is supposed to notify us of new posts, but somehow we missed this one.)

Please see our FAQ 1. Can Metafile Companion edit all objects in any Windows metafile? My guess is that the file contains objects that can't be edited by Metafile Companion. See the FAQ answer for more details about how to detect this.

Forum users can now attach metafiles, and images to their posts. Feel free to post the file(s) here or send it directly to Support@CompanionSoftware.com if you would like us to look into the problem further.
